Shaner Hotels has acquired the 86-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Hershey, Pa. Shaner will operate the property and plans to implement $1.2 million in renovations to completely remodel guest rooms.

Located in the heart of Hershey at 195 Hershey Road, the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is within minutes of such area attractions as Hersheypark, Hershey Gardens, Giant Center, Zoo America, Penn State Hershey Medical Center and the AACA Museum. In addition to standard rooms, the 86-room suites hotel also features two-bedroom extended suites that sleep six. Hotel amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, 24/7 Sweet Shop, free Wi-Fi, fitness center and heated indoor pool. All guest rooms and suites feature microwaves and refrigerators.

Shaner Hotels also operates the Courtyard Hershey Chocolate Avenue hotel and plans to break ground on another hotel, a TownePlace Suites, in the coming months.
