President Plato Ghinos Supports Daughter By Standing 30 Hours

Shaner President Plato Ghinos supported his daughter Sophia at Penn State’s THON, standing for 30 hours straight while she danced for 46 hours. THON 2023 raised a record $15,006,132.46. THON is an incredible event that gets a lot of support from Penn State students, faculty, and the community.
What is THON?
The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, or THON, is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. THON is a year-long effort that raises funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer. With the support of students from all across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and supporters all around the world, they are making great strides toward finding a cure for childhood cancers. The efforts culminate in a 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.

This is wonderful. Congratulations for raising a record amount for such a good cause.
WOW!! I can tell you, I’d have NEVER made it! Congrats to all involved, nice work Plato!
Congratulations Plato on 30 hours and raising Sophia to support such a worthy cause. We need more stories like this in our world.
