Playa Largo hosted a field trip for their local Coral Shores High School culinary class.  They invited 25 high school students that were enrolled in their second culinary class.  The students were given a property tour, demonstrations plating ceviche, grilling steaks, and a “Why Choose Hospitality” presentation where several leaders shared their stories of growing up and advancing their career in the Hospitality field.  They finished the day with a buffet lunch and prize giveaway.

A very special thanks to Chef Gavin Pera for organizing and planning the event, as well as, Chef Neil who inspired one of the seniors to apply for a Line Cook position! The event was very well received. They plan to make it an annual event in collaboration with the Coral Shores High School.
