Courtyard by Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue braves the heat and takes 1st Place – three years in a row!
The Courtyard Hershey Chocolate Avenue participated for the third year in a row at the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Summer.
The Taste of Summer is one of the major fundraisers the WOMEN IN BUSINESS COMMITTEE holds annually to raise money for scholarships for young professional business women in the Lebanon Valley. The goal of the Women in Business committee is to plan and organizes programs to foster the growth and development of women entrepreneurs and professionals in the Lebanon Valley.
Each year local restaurants, bars and hotels that are members of the Chamber have the opportunity to enter a specialty cocktail and / or appetizer into the competition. The members of the Chamber as well as the community are invited to purchase tickets to attend the event. Tickets allow entry to the event, tasting and each ticket holder receives $25 in play money that they can use to vote for their favorites.
This year the hotel entered the Black Cherry Old Fashioned which is a Courtyard Signature Cocktail along with an appetizer which was a fried wonton with mango salsa, grilled shrimp and a jalapeno, cilantro lime sauce.
