Another Great Example of Customer Service
The Courtyard Newark – University of Delaware recently received a perfect score on a guest comment card from a guest who had an issue totally unrelated to their hotel stay; a dead car battery at 6:00 in the morning.
The front desk agent, Matt Swain went out of their way to assist the guest in moving the car out of its parking spot and gave their car a jump, allowing the guest to make it to their scheduled event on time.
Giving that extra effort will help the guest remember the hotel and its helpful staff. Next time they travel to the Newark, Delaware area that moment will stick in their minds and influence their decision on where to stay. Not only will they likely they will choose the Courtyard University of Delaware, but they will refer the hotel to their friends as well.
Congratulations to Matt Swain and the Courtyard Team for once again going above and beyond to take care of your guests.
