The Pittsburgh Marriott City Center hotel recently welcomed 16 Sales Account Executives from Marriott International as they participated in their annual meeting and Day of Solicitation on May 9, 2018. This regional team stayed at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center for two nights, providing the hotel with an exclusive opportunity to showcase its award winning design and amenities to a team that has a direct impact on sales success. The regional team is made up of Sales Account Executives from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. This was their first time holding their annual meeting in Pittsburgh, all previous meetings being held in the Philadelphia area.


Hotel Director of Sales, Christina Stanley, seized this opportunity to showcase the hotel’s effortlessly blended style & substance. “A great opportunity for Pittsburgh Marriott City Center as most of the Sales Account Executives have not been to Pittsburgh before. The hotel included special welcome gifts consisting of Pittsburgh popcorn and macaroons with a personalized note from a member of the hotel’s sales team. The Sales Account Executives raved about the unique meeting set up provided by the hotel. Specifically, the large event space was set up classroom style in the front of the room, with conversational stations including soft seating and coffee tables in the back of the room. This allowed meeting attendees to maneuver throughout the meeting space conducting different forms of training’s in in various settings.
