TripAdvisor recently announced the recipients of the 2018 Certificate of Excellence Award.  A record thirty-four Shaner hotels and five restaurants received the recognition in 2018.

 

“Having so many properties receive this award is a testament to the hard work and superior service provided by our hotel staffs to make sure that every guest experiences the highest quality of stay while at our properties,” said David Kopac, Director of E-Commerce for Shaner.  The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.  Four of the hotels and restaurants are receiving the award for the first time while five are receiving the award for an astounding eighth consecutive year.
