Dustin Shriner is a catalyst at the property when it comes to guest service. Living by the daily promises, he leads by example and instills the Fairfield Service reminders, which has invigorated his staff to deliver exceptional service every day. His motto “Take an upset guest and make them a fan!” is taken to heart by each and every associate, resulting in countless guest comments and top guest satisfaction scores.

When asked about how he felt about earning the award, Dustin stated, “This award means the world to me, and I believe my Faith in Christ makes me a better GM. In Matthew 7:12, it says “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” That is the Golden rule.  Not the golden rule that Marriott came out with, but being a Pastor as well makes my job easier to serve people and to help people, because that is what I do outside of my job as a GM.  So, to be honest, it’s easy to serve people and to try to please and give my guests the best service they could possibly receive at this hotel because I try every day to live like Jesus lived serving other people. What this award says to my team as well is that we take our service very seriously, and that it is our number one priority.  I always try to look for people who have that concept serving others!  My team are some of the most generous, giving, and serving people you will ever meet, and it says a lot about their character.”

Congratulations Dustin and team!
