Maureen Moran, Fairfield Paramus – Sales Excellence – GM

The Sales Excellence – General Manager Award is an honor earned by a Fairfield Inn & Suites GM who has been in that position for a minimum of one year.  To achieve this title, there are several criteria that must be met to include:


-Significant direct involvement in sales

-Hotel must have grown RevPAR from 2016 to 2017 and be at/above the brand average on RevPAR growth.

-Sales leadership and creativity that results in hotel revenue

-Consistently utilizes Mad About Market Share tool

-Hotel performance in the area of GSS will also be considered


Ranked #1 in the comp set for two years running, Maureen has a true passion for sales.  Learning the Marriott ropes after a conversion at her hotel didn’t deter her spirit.  Jumping in with both feet, she leveraged her local sister properties and all available training tools and resources to ensure everyone on the property understands the importance of selling. The result, happy customers and share-shifted business!
