Shaner Hotels is very happy to announce that the Courtyard Hershey/Chocolate Ave officially opened its doors for business last Friday, May 5th.  Congratulations to Jeff Pugh, Elias Thompson, Jennifer Field, Bill Hoy, Steve Shala and the rest of the Courtyard Hershey team on one of the smoothest openings in recent memory.

 

The Courtyard Hershey sits in downtown Hershey; less than 2 miles from the world famous Hershey Chocolate Factory.  Walk outside of the beautiful 120-room hotel at certain times of the day and the air is filled with the smell of chocolate.  You can walk down Chocolate Avenue, where the streets are lit at night by street lights shaped like Hershey Kisses, to some of the area’s best restaurants and shops.  If you are in town with family, then you are less than five minutes away from Hersheypark, Choclate World and ZooAmerica.  A little further out you can explore the caves at Indian Echo Caverns or experience the beauty of the Hershey Gardens.  If entertainment is what you seek, then you will find yourself just minutes from the sporting events and concerts held at the GIANT Center, Hersheypark Stadium and the Hershey Theatre.

 

The hotel itself is an incredible addition to the downtown area.  It features The Bistro Restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily.  This particular restaurant is one of the first Bistros to feature the Bistro 2.0 menu which is intended to elevate the evening bar experience by offering American classics with a twist.  In addition the hotel features an indoor pool, fitness center and patio area with fire pit.
