The 2017 Shaner Hotel GM/DOS Conference is about to get underway at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center.  More than 110 general managers, directors of sales and corporate associates will travel more than 48,000 combined miles for a few days of education and celebration.  The conference, which begins on Saturday, February 18, has the theme of “Lead. Inspire. Deliver.” this year.

Conference will kick off this year with a luncheon and then general session on Saturday followed by an evening reception.  The highlights of the events come on Sunday and Monday.  First, attendees will be treated to a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game on Sunday afternoon followed by an off-site dinner at Tequila Cowboy, where it is expected that quite a few associates will be giving the mechanical bull a try (pictures to come later.) Then, on Monday evening, conference is concluded with the annual Awards Dinner where associates and hotels will be honored and celebrated for their accomplishments in 2016.
